The company Jaguar Land Rover has officially announced plans to build a new plant. The company's management signed a protocol of intent with the government of Slovakia.
According to the document, a new assembly plant will be built near the city of Nitra in western Slovakia. Production at the plant is due to start in 2018. It is expected that in ten years the new plant should reach full capacity of 300 thousand cars per year.
